Are you at work again today?

Not questions, just figured that since you've seen the evidence, that your comment was a hint, then a couple of guesses.

I think we need to put a detective on the case.

You know, Columbo, Barnaby Jones. One of those guys should get it done.

Maybe a question that can be revealed...When can we officially place orders with our favorite Ric dealer?

Marc, I think BBR was revealed on about 20 January, and I placed my order for one two days later.

On a side note, how does the order process usually work? There is a deposit required I understand. I'm contemplating going through Musician's Friend, who ships to Canada. For standard models there is about a year, presumably a bit longer for a "not color of the year"Image
Does RIC accept direct orders?
If I can swing it, this will be the first NEW Rick I've purchased, so please forgive the dumb questions.

Kevin I'm pretty sure you'll have to go through a dealer.

That's what I thought. It sucks to not have Canadian dealers who actually WANT to sell you a Rick for a reasonable price. Last I heard Steve's or Long & McQuade wanted more than double the US list price & acted like it would have been easier to rip out a kidney than order one.

No work today. They surpassed my expectations yesterday and they deserve their rest.

Today we play guitars instead of making them!

Kevin, I ordered a4001C64 from Jerry at Steves in T.O. and it is possibly cheaper than buying one in the U.S., I'm quite happy with the deal, I've paid for it, but will probably not see it til April, if I'm lucky..1yr,it also came down 300. as our buck seems to be doing so well

Just out of interest Ben, (don't know if this has been asked before), but what guitar/bass do you play and which is your favorite ?

I was assuming Rickenbacker, (didn't think any need to mention it), but wondered as to model.

Just joking... what I'd give to have access to that wonderland!

With how hard the Hall's work to bring us our instruments, it amazes me that they have time to play!

Ben and John get together at the Hall Family 64 Track Studio, order pizza and beer, turn out the lights, and play Dueling Lightshows!

Thanks, Richard & welcome! Did you have to pay the full amount up front or just a deposit?
