So, what's in your harem?

Post by sloop_john_b »

I'm interested in seeing what Ricks forum members have - basses, guitars, banjos, mandolins, whatever. Pics are optional. What did you used to own? What do you have on order?

I'll get the ball rolling:

Guitars:
- 1997 330 Fireglo w/ Ac'cent Vibrato
- 2004 370/12 Blue Boy

Basses:
- 1986 4003 White/BT
- 1999 4003 Jetglo
- 2004 4001c64 Fireglo

Used to own:
- 2003 360 Jetglo

On order:
- 660 Blueburst

Good lord, Jeffrey. My collection is paltry by comparison:

381v69 MG, 380L PZ, 370/12 MB VP

When the cost of living goes down in Santa Ana, CA., I'll be taking delivery of a 700C/12 FG with an E3 pick-up.

Oh... the sold guitars don't have to be Ricks? In that case...

Formerly:
Johnson P bass copy. Natural. Reason for sell: Piece of junk and trade in fer my Dean. Plus I got made fun of fer playing with my Johnson. Image

Dean Edge 5 string. Purple. Reason for sell: Boomy sound. Great bass, but the sound was too bassy and clean compared to my 4001. I needed treble and growl.

Some Hofner copy. didn't have a name on it. Red. Reason for sell: Cruddy guitar. It came with flats and I hated it. I switched to rounds and it still sucked. Sold because I needed the money.

That's alot, Jeffrey... I want that many!

Scott, there were alot of 'em. It's a strap on, it's a woody, I twist my Johnson's knobs.. lol. After a while I put duct tape over the name so I wouldn't get made fun of. And most of the insults (jokes) came from my dad.. lol.
