I was thinking some months ago about a "custom" jobbed 4004...like a 4000, with one PU.
When I mused about this at practice (with my Laredo straped across my neck) my guitarist said "what? you have the perfect bass right there".
My 4004L is the Rick answer to the P bass. A damn good answer - powerful, throaty lows but still retains its "Rick" soul.
