Blueboy looks great with a gold pickguard IMO - I have one on my 370/12BB, but I always imagined it'd look really nice on a 4003.

Jeff, I had listed the Cheyenne in the for sale section a few days ago, got no response so I threw it up on Ebay and it was gone in a flash.

Chris, the clock is running down for me to order something in Blueburst..the CII seems like the thing. I was kinda hoping they'd take acoustic orders before the end of the year.

As if Chris had to twist my arm... Just placed the order for the CII Blueburst from Chris Clayton. It'll be nice to get the bass, but also Chris showed his face at the Mid Atlantic Fest, so I felt obligated to try and give him the business.

You guys notice that Rickenbacker, besides influencing the creation of this cool forum, on which I've made many friends for life, also has pretty cool dealers as well?...

I agree with the sentiment that a Blueboy 4003 with a gold pickguard and TRC looks awesome. I think those two colors play off of each other very nicely.

Way to go , Marc!

Perhaps a nice little blueburst photo-op at the next 'fest??

I find blue boy and sea green unattractive ... blueburst is kind of cool though ... silver and white with black trim rule ... jetglo and mapleglo are classic standards ... azureglo and mid blue are interesting ... monty brown is too 60s fenderish for me ... oil finish is cool ... fireglo is a classic ... red is dramtic ... burgundy is classy ...

that's my 2 cents ...

You guys all suck. ;-)

I changed my mind and put in a pre-order for a blue burst instead.

I declare this thread over before you folks change my mind for me again.

John,

You could have had a classic collectible colour......

That's OK. One fewer less BB made, of which I suspect there aren't that many anyway...

Even more reason to get one....

Not trying to confuse you either John! Image
