Idea for New RIC TV Show
The COY thread got me thinking...there needs to be a new version of Orange County Choppers, called Orange County Rickenbackers! If you've ever seen OCC, it's fun to watch the shop in action. We could see how they argue over issues like COY, new designs, etc.., maybe even see Ben get yelled at by John for not keeping the shop floor clean!

Ric management would have to learn how to swear and be bad tempered in public. Nah! It will never work! They are far too professional for that.

That'd be funny as hell! It'd have to be just 'Orange County Guitars' though. Does Ben come up with all of the radical ideas like Pauly?
First episode dialogue:
John: Ben had this here idere and I disagreed.. we started to argue and whatnot. Typical everyday ****.
Ben: I really don't see what my dad was mad about. I came up with the new 4000 series bridge, and I guess he was upset he didn't think of it. I think he should go back in is office and do what he does best.. nothing. He just puts his size 12's up on the table and takes a nap.
Will the guitar be finished in time for NAMM? Tune in next week to American Guitar!
I HAD TO!

OC Choppers sets a new mark in California stupidity brought to the masses.
Not to mention length of idiot mustaches and ugliness of the old tweakers who wear them.
That show and "Dog" are two ways to waste time and rot yer brain in the bargain.
I think back to 1964, when my entire Polish American conservative family censured me for wearing my hair a bit long. I actually transferred high schools to one with a more lenient dress code. My inspiration was the Beatles, of course. Their effect on my generation was lasting and largely positive.
Now we have OCC and Dog--will they make ignorance, sweat, and mullets a cultural touchstone for half a century to come?
Stay tuned. Not.
