The 3 shows John & Yoko did with Dick Cavett in 1971-72 are out on DVD. Article link below.

Cool. I bought one tape on VHS but couldn't afford the whole set when Yoko's show came through town a few years ago and they were for sale in the gift shop. It will be nicer to have all the shows on a DVD anyway.

The Cavett show with George is also out. The best interview with him I have seen.
This is off the record

I purchased the DVD set over the weekend.
Great quality considering the shows were taped in 1971-72. I just wish John & Yoko performed more musically.

I was also impressed with the quality but was really thrown back a bit how dated everything looked.

Funny I clearly saw the Dick Cavett Show title but had thought this was going to be the Mike Douglas shows that J&Y hosted when Chuck Berry appeared.

John was visibly nervous at first but later was extremely witty and funny. Yoko was very timid the first show(s) but the 3rd show showed her much more relaxed.

A weird glimpse back to the past.

Hopefully the Mike Douglas shows will be released on DVD soon also. There will be a lot more musical performances in that set.
