Which Ric was it??

Post by dead_eye »

When I was a kid I got my first Ric it was in 1971, it was used, maple glow, had a 330 body style, and a vibroto with a sharp point on the end, I can'r remember if it had 2 pickups or 3. I sold it and now I wish I never had, can any of you guys and gals tell me which model Ric it was?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, it was likely a model 335 (or 345 if it had the 3rd pickup). To approximate it now you would look for a model 330/VB (330, hi-gain pickups, vintage vibrato), 330/VP/VB (330, toaster pickups, vintage vibrato), or a 340 with the same suffixes.

I love the vintage (Ac'cent) vibrato!!!

Are you thinking of getting a replacement?

I'd sure love to find another one out there.
