This is the thread for random bass chat. Active VS. passive, any bass VS. Rickenbacker... um... I dunno.. why the name Willie Fisterbottum is funny. Hehehehe.

Dude I dont know. I dont think Icould pick either way. Altho Rush is my obsession. Im starting to get into Yes. And Imust say... Im really digging it. Makes me really want to pick up a pick too. Which im doing. I try to take on to much at once. 2 years and Iv picked up fretless, 5 string, stand up, slap and now pick. Why cant I just make up my mind... haha.
Tony only says that because he has a 4001CS... but I'll have a 4001GL next year though. Hehe. I'm even thinking about putting Ged's signature on the pickguard.
Ok... which band was more sterile? Yes or Rush?

Blair... those tunes are crazy! I love the tube distortion! It's... different. Also the way the tunes run into each other.. wow!
It was seamless between "Portrait of Tracy" and "Amerika"! That 4002 is amazing! As is the player... are you used to compliments yet?

YES, and no. Actually, the reason I wanted the CS was because I was a CS fan for a LONG time before that bass came out!
I was introduced to YES around 1977 at the ripe old age of about 16. To this day, I'm STILL amazed at what these guys can do....and I STILL love that RIC sound!
