I had one bad experience trying to buy a pickguard for my 4001. They eventually gave me a refund. I had some troubles trying to communicate with them via e-mails. The phone worked the best...

I previously had four or five good transactions with them for some Fender covers and things.

Interestingly, they responded promptly to every question I had, but once the question was "where's my refund", suddenly there's no reply...

By the way, Henny, WD stands for Wrong Dimensions.

They will never receive another dime from me for their worthless parts . I made the mistake of getting a WD Ricky guard from them the same as Ilan Did . I sent it back to them and they wouldnt refund my money either . Ripoffs

WD? When I made the mistake of buying a Rick pickguard from them, I got an All Parts pickguard. Is WD making them for All Parts?

I've emailed Guitar/Bass Parts Resource several times about interior dimensions of their pickup surrounds (I need solid brass pickup rings, but they need to be a very specific size), considering they don't list the interior dimensions of most of the rings. I have not received a reply to any of my emails. I really need these pickup rings; they're for a custom bass I bought off eBay that had had the hardware sold off, and I want to restore it as closely as possible to original, which includes the pickup rings that will fit the old Bartolini Hi-A humbuckers. I'm really wary about buying from them without knowing if the parts will fit, as solid brass pickup rings are expensive.

had enough of waiting for this nightmare of an order to come thru - so i sourced the parts here in london. Im £40 out of pocket for a load of parts that are PROBABLY LOST, but it could be worse. If it ever turns up i will keep the pots etc for spares and sell the pickguard and bridge cover.

Heres the completed Precision - i went with the SD vintage pickup and it sounds and looks amazing.

indeed. fender only made them with gold guard/rosewood board for a short time in 59 so i believe. which means my bass is obviously super rare and stuff

I've gotten several orders from them and have been VERY satisfied at the quality and service. I did return some minor items once and got my refund, minus 20%, a couple weeks later.
