Micro confluence at my house

Post by rickfan60 »

Paul Boyer, Jeff Thomas, Mike Gutierrez and a forum lurker whom we will call Mr. X all met at my house for a micro confluence. We did this 10 days ago but I left for vacation just afterwards so we waited until tonight to post the pics.

Here are Mike and Jeff standing among some of the Ricks.

Here is Jeff with his C64S. Jeff brought many beautiful basses for the event.

Here is Jeff's JG V63 as played by Mike. How many mods can you spot? Look closely as some are unusual.

Paul tries out Jeff's V63. We did a comparison between Jeff's V63 and mine for sound. Mine has shoes and his does not. There may well have been one but we could hear a significant difference.

Here is Jeff's Ruby 4003. The photo does not do the color justice.

....I am quite envious....it looks like it was a fun time. That V63 looks great with the gold trim BTW.

The other guys took pictures as well. I am sure they will add them here when they can. We had beer and pizza for dinner. A good time was had by all.

Nice!

Besides the missing shoes and the gold backed pickguard and TRC on the JG V63, I don't see anything else.
