Thanks simon, Please post yours too.

The reason for this thread I think we all notice that 67 tends to be the year of the 4005, it seems as though more were produced in 67 then any other year.

I dont want to leave out other 4005 owners so ATTENTION all 4005 owners list your 4005.

Thanks Ken , I vegged this AM & added my '65 in a '67 thread, BTW , do we know just how many 4005 Basses were made? , a long time ago someone told me that in 1965 there were 18 , 12 FG & 6 MG, don't know if that's true or not,
Cheers

Thanks for letting me include mine too Ken!!!

Hey Andrew, yep it's a refin... That's the only way I was able to afford it! Honestly, it's beautiful, whoever did it - I was told that was done in the '70s and has been babied ever since. And I think it looks that way, lord knows I try to keep it that way. You have no idea how much I grind my teeth every time I bounce the headstock off a stand, the drums, a wall, etc. when I'm playing it!

Jaime & David, both of those are stunning examples.

This bass grew on me like fungus,I never thought I would become attached to a 4005.
Its not hype!

The plate on this dates it as 1984, but it's clearly a late 60's.......

Ah, the triple pick up baby...

I looked at that $1800 BIN for 10 mins Graham, before thinking OK, so it's Jetglo, I...can....still...buy....it...

Went to sign in and when I came back to it you had it!

If it had been any other colour than black...
