Aitch--the SD Zoo is not to be missed. It is incredible, and I'd be up for a day there is we can swing the time while in SoCal.

Our sibling can be a bit of a grouch (he takes after me, apparently...). Last time I was there he threw an orange at me, which he pulled out of his back pocket.

Then I realized he had no oranges, nor did he have any back pockets.

Ewwwwww.....

Hahahahahahaha!! He must have a distant cousin in the Melbourne zoo - I just managed to duck under a rather green 'orange' last time I was there!

Excellent work, Sheena! Love the matching knobs, the 'nosey' sound hole and the plasticene ears (or are they 'Play-Doh')!

OK - now we've seen what you can do - how's your daughter's project coming along? Image

PS - What or who is 'Cheburashka'?

Cheburashka is "an animal unknown to scientists", a hero of a famous Russian book for children (by E. Uspensky) and a cartoon as well. In fact he (she? it?) looks like:

That Sabre guitar looks like a frozen Chernobyl shrimp.

And it comed with "Kick *** Humbuckers" and a "Wammy Bar".

Beat off the groupies...

Sheena! That is the PERFECT guitar for my hubby (the rifle, not the Cheburashka, LOL!).... Maybe he'd start playing guitar if he had one like that!

Aitch, that Sabre looks like some kind of Klingon weapon....yikes.

Aitch that guitar will be a "real keiper". I presume that must be pronounced with a cockney accent. LOL

I bought my oldest son a Silvertone PS AP1 Paul Stanley Apocalypse Special a few weeks back. It's a wacky looking metal guitar too. Not quite as weird as the one you are considering.

Chernobyl shrimp... yup... i'd rather say "Chernobyl bat" if you don't mind... 8-)
Melissa: well, if you find it somewhere (why not anyway? if we look at what some guys are selling on Ebay...) - i think all the forumites would be glad if you post a picture of your hub playin' it... LOL.

Sheena re: The guitar/assault rifle combo.

I suspect that Antonio Banderas would probably like that one.

The guitar/assault rifle was invented by the EMPEROR.

Who, by the way, has another racist rant masquerading as a listing for a Rick on eBay this week.

I wrote him about it, asking him to stop the nonsense.

He ranted at me for four e-mails, until I told him that I had co-workers from every race under the sun, who really found his rants entertaining, and that my secretary is Jewish.

Then he shut up. HE IS NUTZ!

Meantime, I filed another complaint against him with eBay.
