I'm in Chicago Sat 10th Dec, anybody else there?

Post by leftyguitars »

I have booked a flight to Chicago on Saturday 10th December to pick up my new toys. I am flying back to the UK the following day. I am at a loose end for something to do on Saturday night (see a band, down a pint or two, etc.) Where should I go?

It's "Ted Right" then? Image

I had a feeling I had misspelled it (sorry Ted!), but I was in a hurry and couldn't take the time to look it up ...

No problem Gary. If I had a dime for everytime I misspelled something here I would have more Ricks.

I will email him right away.

This is Scott Jennings old lefty 4005. There is a great story behind it.

I'm all packed and ready to go. As long as I don't get shot in Chicago it should be an experience! I can't wait to see what the rest of the Slipknot tribute band that I play in think of it when we do our next gig!!!

To bad you can't fly in on Friday; I'd love to have you out to the toybox!

Our evening is going to be at the Brian Setzer show; what time do you arrive? Maybe a daytime hook-up? The toybox link below...

Hi Jim, I land at 12.25 on the Saturday. I am meeting up with Ted Staberow and a couple of others at some time. I'm not sure exactly what is happening yet but I will be picking some guitars up from CME during the day, and I hope that alcohol will be involved during the course of the evening.
