John on the cover of Life magazine.

Has anyone seen this special issue?
"Remembering John 25 Years Later". I just picked it up today. Some great pictures, and some really good shots of John posing with his Rickenbacker. I haven't had time to read it all but it sure looks like a keeper for any Beatle fan out there.
Buy it before someone else does.

Thanks for the info Bob. It sounds like it may be interesting, so I plan to get one.

There's probably 35,000 better ones. Looks like he's in what he called his 'Fat Elvis' period, around HELP I believe...

I think it is an awesome shot. Quite a character study in that one.

I also think it's one of the best pics of Lennon that I've ever seen -- plus one that hasn't been shown over and over.

What are you, nuts? His hair's greasy and he looks tired and ******. Of course, If I'd said it was a great picture, the same people would've responded with the opposite reaction. That's what makes Forums great.

Steve, It's actually a very good picture, and if you see the cover in person I think you would agree, and his hair is not greasy in the picture.
Spend the $10.99 for the issue. It's worth it and will make a great collector piece. There are lots of great pictures. I'll post a few.

Ron, I'll send you some of the pics I took via email.
