Pictures of my son with some Beatles gear
Here are some humorous pictures of my son, Thomas, with some guitars we all know and love, including a Ric. These shots were taken 5 years ago, and I just came across them and thought they'd be fun to post here.
The first is a Gretsch, which he is proudly displaying to all those interested:

Here is he tuning up the Gretsch:

The joy and contentment of playing an all time classic:

Checking the neck relief on the Hofner. He is not pressing down in the exact spot he needs to, but he is young yet:

Tuning the Hofner:

Ready to play---Wow, does this feel fast---no wonder McCartney still loves to play it:

In full groove, jamming the Hof, fingerstyle no less:

Wow, what an all-together different beast, the 325. Elegant, classy, timeless. Though he does appear a little concerned that the TRC might not be period-correct:

Checking to see if it is passive or active. Phew, thank goodness, passive it is:

A strum of the Ric is like heaven to the ears:

And finally, just admiring one's Ric, something a Ric owner never tires of:

Precious Andrew. Some woman will thank you one day for introducing him to a range of classic guitars. How many will he need when he is able to afford them? Thanks for these photos. They are great.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thanks, Peter!
And one more.
Here, Thomas displays a pristine back of a Hofner, without a hint of belt-buckle rash. Remember, you have to wear belt buckles to get belt-buckle rash!

Great shots Andrew,
I have two sons who are both grown men now. They were then and still are "my boys". Having children is such a special privilege.

Those are great. And now he has a head start on the inevitable "What Was Your First Guitar?" thread he'll start in 2045.
Peter M., I hope you've made allowances in your database, because just about then either Paul "JingleJangle" or Aitch should be breaking the billion mark in your number-of-posts counter.
