Bought my first Ric today!!!!

I just brought home my first rickenbacker 4003(thanks to my wife) in jetglo. what a bass. it sounds great with my amp. I play nothing but fenders all my life. not any more.after playing this stick of butter iam going to sell my other bass.i got a great deal on it $900 + tax w/hsc.and he has a fireglo one also..well iam off to play with my new friend ric.

That's the spirit, Jim. And you'll find that owning one Rickenbacker bass is never enough.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Jim you'd better rush back to the store and bring home that Fireglo before it's gone.Hope your wife understands.

If I bought that other ric my wife would cut of my @#$$s. but the way this one sounds it might be worth one.

Totally understood.
Take care and live well for your next chance to get another(Ric bass, not wife.......or if you can handle both...).
Don't forget to put the case under the 'Xmas tree to make yourself feel good.
