tell chip to get one off ebay for you. And get chip to talk to the folks here for advice.

I understand your situation... but I find personal satisfaction in looking for my own gear. The hunt is part of the fun for me... I would never let someone else hunt for me for that reason.

Well I hunted found a few but didnt get them. I dont like Ebay really either. Thats part of the reason Chips got the whatever guys looking. He trust them to get him something good.

I dont think Chip would need to much advice. Hes been playing for 30+ some years. And has had several rics. I mean he doesnt own 15 like you guys but hes had several and knows more about bass all together then anyone Iv ever talked to. I dont really think hell need much advice haha.

Well, Jacob, "Chip" may be old school... but fact is, nobody on the planet is going to specialise in Rics as much as we do... this is as good as it gets.

And brokers to find a bass? You're hardly looking for a needle in a haystack...

Mark I get that. But I think its going to be fine haha.

Hes using whatever he does for every other bass he gets. What I want may not be as rare as some of the things. But whatever.

Well at 1st I wanted a 4001. But I decided Id rather have a 4003 around the 80s. Cause of the neck still being small and not having to worry about it as much. So I told him to try to get me one around then. If not just get me something with a smaller neck and Id be happy. Image

Can you dig it Baby! Sorry... I was listning to that Jaco collection "Punk Jazz" today. So yeah... Haha. Iv never been this excited about Xmas in my life. Honestly... growing up.. Iv been kind of spoiled. Most of the time I knew what I was getting. If i didnt I wasnt excited anyways. Iv never been that type of person. I can be so happy but it wont show haha. Even when i got my 1st bass... after waiting a year. I wasnt excited to get it. I got it walked in the other room and started trying to play it. It wasnt that exciting at the time being. I had actually never touched one. So I was just like... what do i do now. But after awhile I feel in love and now I get excited every time I pick up a bass. Good way to know how much you like a certain bass too! Haha. The happier i look the more i like the bass. Okay out of the way story. Sorry guys.

Thats awesome Jon.

Oh and guys... Thanks for trying to help out. Really.
