My 4000 has a brass nut that is sharp and in need of filing. But like Brian I'm too lazy to do anything about it.
Is everybody ready?

Ken, if I heard you say that your nutz are dull, I'd say something smartassed like "it's from those competition thongs you wear"...

I've noticed that whenever I talk about bass strings or guitar strings to anyone, I *inevitably* get a snicker or two when I say "G-string" . . . hell, sometimes I laugh . . . I'm such a 4-year-old . . .

I remember rounding the edges of my nuts a bit, because they were sharp. Then I made an aluminum nut.

Mine are brass. Both of them.

Or so I've been told...
