Yeah I do know someone that's good with '14's, He's in...Montana now (I think), used to live here in CT. Most of the good M-14 smiths are gone or dead! I've never heard of using tin-foil between the receiver and the glass, we just used a release agent. I assume it's glass bedded now, you can do a skim coat. Might as well screw on a new barrel while your at it too, something that shoots the new M118LR! mail me at [email protected] I'll get you this guys info. Hold Hard

I left out one of my other "lives" in my first post. Architecture is one of my hobbies, Frank Lloyd Wright in particular. A few years back I accidently discovered a previously unknown work by Wright. It has since been published in the most authoritative work ever produced on the structures of Frank Lloyd Wright. "The Frank Lloyd Wright Companion" by William Allin Storrer. Bill has since asked me to participate in buiding authentications. It seems that a lot of people think they own Wright houses. 99.999999999% of the time they are wrong but it is fun to see the houses anyway. I have seen some amazing homes that were sadly not from the hand of the master.

I collect old Pepsi stuff...signs, bottles etc.. I have bottles from the 1910's to present. I also have a couple of telescopes - a 10" dob and a 4.5" reflector, but it's hard to find time for astronomy when you play in a band at night. City lights have ruined the view, so you have to get out to the country for any decent stargazing.

Even those are going through the roof.
I've thought about selling my Jazz Bass a couple times to buy an older Rick, but I could never replace it.
Of course if the Rick looked like Jeff's old '68, it would relieve the pain a bit.

I Just sold my 73 sunburst black block jazz bass for 3,000.00 . Thats how i bought my shadow lol
