Guilty pleasures

I have a naval flag that flew over a US destroyer during WWII. At least that is the story the person who gave it to me told. It is about 9 feet long and has 48 stars (of course).

Nice. I like the larger, old flags. They're easier to find at an affordable price. Most collectors go for a more "room friendly" size, like 3 X 5 ft.
I specialize in old US flags now, I used to collect naval ensigns and jacks as my main focus.
Oldest flag I have right now is a US Centennial flag from 1876.

Mine is usually neatly folded and put away. The previous owner told me to always fold it in a triangle shape. I don't know if that is correct but that is what I have done.

That's right! You can buy a nice wood/glass "frame" for it, made to fit it in triangle shape. Looks nice in one of those.

I've been playing some golf the past few years. I really don't know what's worse, my guitar playing or my golf; need lessons in both.

Whenever time permits, shooting skeet, trap, and sporting clays is another pleasure.

I also have a small collection of old radios, AM & AM/SW.
