I just saw on tv that Kiwi band Pluto's bassist used an early 70's 4001 in the video for their song "Perfectly Evil". I know this because of the dinky headstock, grovers, and half inch spacing. Thanks for the constant info, guys!
Song was pretty good and it was really nice seeing a NZ band use Rickenbackers.
