When this thread started my Laredo was at the studio...just compared the 75 4001 to the 2004 Laredo, and there really isn't too much difference. The 75 is a little more rounded, but that is probably the effects of age.

LMAO! You ment the actual nut. I was thinking like a bolt and nute. now that i think about it. iv never seen a bass with that kind of nute. LMFAO. Okay... blonde momment. I cant believe how stupid that was of me. I deserve a smack for that one.

Haha... I broke my g string while playing in front of a bunch of my friends. It was just a practice really... but theres always several people that showed up. Not a great string to break in front of people.
