I am from Rochester, so I know a thing or two about snow... it is cold and annoying to shovel. Thankfully, I am in law school in Albany and the city flips out over an inch or two. He he... gotta love that!

Thankfully, back in Savannah, we not only have no snow, but we haven't been hit by a hurricane in decades; they always go around us. However, up here in Ohio, we got whacked with snow. And then it all melted and froze, so we have slush and ice. And it's really freaking windy. Windchill sucks.

That's the trade off, but you get plenty of advance warning and you prepare. If anything major is coming, you pack up the condo and leave for vacation....

I'll take that over winter snow, sub zero temps and 9 months of grey skies anytime. That really has a negative impact on the quality of life.

Now excuse me while I go and sit on my balcony in shorts and watch the sun rise...
