Merry Christmas to everyone here, thank you for the countless hours of joy you have given me while reading your posts, everything from "Damn!" to a poignant personal story, to everything in between.
If I were Elvis, I would order new Cadillacs for you.
Alas, I am not.

Although she is 9 years old we have only had Peaches (our cockatoo) for just over a year. As you can see loves to wear her Santa hat and scarf. She will wear that get up for hours. She's quite a character. She also loves to play with our dogs on the floor playing fetch with a small ball. They all get along famously.
Oh and before I forget she loves the sound of my 360/12. She sings along with it. Not in key but she tries awful hard.
A cockatoo that loves the sound of a Ric. Now that's a bird with good taste.

Right around Christmas day, my blue fronted amazon parrot will be 22 years old. I have him since he is 8 weeks old. He trys to sing along with any music. My senegal parrot and green cheek conure supply the effects to music.
I don't let my parrots near my basses. to them anything made of wood is a chew toy.
Then there are also hundreds of parrots that fly around my neighborhood.
As my wife's birthday(7th Dec.)has passed, it's a rule in our house that, only now can Christmas revelry begin!
So from the "Rahilly" Family here in Australia, Greg,Andrea,Kieran,Paul,Sarah & Kylie wish you all a very safe and happy Christmas & New Year!
It's been a joy reading here and meeting forum members,as it is a joy just to own a Rick.
Merry Christmas everyone from me and my mob.
Brian if Peaches is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo expect him to live to 100. Sorry, I don't have the plugin, if "she" talks(?) she's a he...
Peaches does not talk. That is the only disappointing thing about her. Yep she is supposed to live between 60 and 100 years. One of my sons will have to take her after we are gone.
Winston Churchills parrot BTW is still alive. I understand that he has a particularly foul vocabulary. No pun intended.

Merry Christmas to all my Forum friends, Thank you, Thank You I've enjoyed all you great senses of humor, your knowledge, the passion filled discussions of this past year. I would love to have my C63 this Christmas, but I am getting something better, My son has survived Afhganistan and Iraq combat and is coming home for good, he'll be here Thursday YEA!!!
Erik, although my green cheek conure is very affectionate, she does like to play rough with her beak sometimes. She never bites hard enough to draw blood. That type of behavior is typical for a green cheek conure.
