The Feb 03 issue of "Acoustic Guitar" magazine has a nice tribute to George written by David Simons. Here's the link to the article:

Reading this article again, not only was Mr. Harrison's guitar playing subtle & contributed to the unique sound of the Beatles. The same can also be said about his backing vocals. IMHO
