Officially on order

Well, I've now got a Blue Burst 4004 Cheyenne on order. I tossed and turned with the prospect for some months, and like my decision to get a Monte 4003, I let it go to the last possible week. But my order is confirmed, and now all I have to do is wait. It might take a year or more, but it's not like I don't have any instruments to play. I've got a feeling that whatever RIC has up their sleeves for the 75th anniversary emblem/trim/color or whatever will also be something I'll want, and I hope whatever it is can be a feature on my Cheyenne.

I'm still on the C64FG waiting list. I know I'm running this into the ground, but since so many are going out, right around Christmas time, it's making me antsy. But since some people here waited two years or longer for theirs to arrive, I guess I can wait a while more.

Robert, I can't find Ben's exact quote but, I think it was more on the lines of that the finish and the bass were made for each other, meaing it's a perfect fit. Not that the finish was specifically designed for it.
