Got my first Ric twelve string 360/12 FG

Post by gjg59 »

Bought it from Chris Clayton at the Philly show ,but had to wait to yesterday to get it. New 2004 360/12. This is much darker than my 2005 360/6 that had the cool big knots on the back but was a bit pinky for me. Anyway, this is so fun to play. I did not realize how versatile. I have a broken middle finger tip so I can't really enjoy it for another couple weeks. This is not as "limiting" as acoustic twelves I have played. the feel and action on this guitar is incredible.

You wait. After your finger heals, then you will really start to enjoy playing it. There is nothing like a Ric 12 string.

Getting your first Rick 12 string is a 'never to be forgotten' experience, Gerry. Congratulations!! Great to hear that that you're so happy with it.

I remember being all sweaty and shaky when I picked up my 660/12............ probably due in part to my increased level of debt!! Image

What everyone else said! My 360/12v64 (FG, of course) is my only Rick. Love it to death!

The only downside is, after getting it, I don't really want any others.

Well, I could dig a JG 325v58 with a Bigsby and gold plastic parts, but I'm not in a real searching mode or anything. If I happened across one at a good price though... ;-)

Just got a 360/12 Jetglo.
When I opened the case for the first time and looked at it my jaw dropped.
I get the same feeling everytime I open the case.
