I was unaware until about ten seconds ago that the Lightshow guitars and basses actually responded to what you play on them . . . I thought the lights just blinked or whatever when you turned them on . . . when I realized that different lights correspond to different frequencies (i.e. low, mid, high), my jaw dropped. That's freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Why are these not made anymore?

Yeah, but if you played a bum note, you'd bust a bulb, LOL. Reminds me of that old "how many drummers does it take to change a RIC Lightshow bulb?" joke.
I bet Adolph Rickenbacker always dreamed of someday creating a Lightshow Frying Pan....

>>>build it and they will come

I believe that quotation is attributed to the inventor of the vibrator...Alexander Graham Dildoski...
(sorry, couldn't resist, I'll go sit in the corner now)

Great, if he has a plan where you put a $1 down and $1 a month, I will have it in 20,000 months!

One place I must visit is Seligman, Arizona. Route 66 runs right through it.

I love the bit in "Beavis and Butthead Do America" where they're on the bus full of nuns, and all they do is laugh every time they see a sign with the name of a town . . . *sign for Butte goes by*, "He he he he butt!" . . . *sign for Weippe goes by*, "He he he he wipe!" So funny.
