Ric's in 06

Post by dswp »

I know, we don't know what's up for the 75th anniversary of Rickenbacker or the C.O.Y.

However, with less than two weeks till 06, do we know of a date for the announcement yet???

Sigh.

I know what the NAMM show is just didn't know when.
"What Color of the Year? Also sighing"

It must be nice to know whats up for 06 we don't know what it could be so excuse are ignorance.

Leaving a "sigh." is extremely arrogant.

Sorry guys for the poor wording. The intent was for a "general announcement", if any, (other than walnut wings).

I thought they've already said that there would be no COY this year and instead would be some sort of anniversary thing.

A 75th anniversary is platinum so they should do a platinum colored bass with chrome hardware and black plastic and black checkered binding and exposed walnut headwings like the Squire basses ...

Didn't JH say it wasn't going to be a COY, per se?

FWIW, the intent of the thread is not to ask “what”, but "when" will we know.
