John, Your new column has just instantly become my favorite on the Forum. If there's one way to get my attention it's to mention those two words "vintage" and "Rickenbacker" together in the same sentence. Three cheers from me!

Nice job, John! If anybody gets the chance to see his band, by all means do so, great music era and playing from this trio.

It's nice to know that two of my Ricks fit the category here! Image

Oreca, sadly it means you are also now considered vintage. :-)

Welcome, John!

I anticipate this to become a clearing-house for accurate information as well as well-seasoned opinions on vintage Rickenbacker instruments.

I am looking forward to lots of educational fun!

Welcome John. You're just the right person to look after this forum in a dignified way and ensure a wide variety of interesting discussion on our favourite topic.... vintage Rickenbackers. I look forward to following along and continuing my Rickenbacker education

Glen, LOL! I'll be counting on you to right my wrongs on many things. With your contributions, we'll have some great discussions no doubt. Keep me grounded on the 325s, please! Image

Andy, many thanks for the kind words. Thanks to all of you!

LOL...I'm sure she would say she tried to, anyway..Image God bless her.

She believed in my musical ability to the point where she justified the need for me to get my first Rickenbacker bass, which I still have.
