the story huh, well not much to tell really, I auditioned for a band called The Weeds, when I was a kid. Fred Cole and I hit it off and decided to start our own band. Zipper was the band. He also owned a music store back in those days, and a RIC dealer Captain Whizeagles. I played bass, and went through his entire stock of RIC basses, he sang and I got 2 of my freinds Jim Roos guitar, and Lorry Erck drums to finish out the band. I had an old SVT, one of the square 8X10 cabs w/screw on dolly, and the original tube head. I remember doing the tube mod on it. You know the one where they removed the top contact thingies? We were a Led Zep sounding thing, all original cept for covers we played for dances. Fred now plays in Dead Moon with his wife Toody, and Andrew Loomis. On the front cover, I am the one on the far left. I was 15-16 when that pic was taken. So 35+ years of playing RIC's (ric content for yall:-) I just get a kick out of these records selling for so much now on ebay. Thank god GC doesnt have a stock of these ROFL. Rock out like ZIPPER. Ahh memories :-) And no Jeff, back then I wasn't as quiet as I am now :-)

Greg, apparently that is a bit of a collector's item! I had no idea! You could always sell a bass and say "Owned by Greg Shadoan from Zipper!"

Intersting, the site that Sean pointed to has the cover photo reversed. Correction. The cover on Ebay im on the right. The one on that other site (which we are investigating as to its legality) Im on the left.

That is pretty cool Greg. It seems you guys still have a strong following. The last time I looked, the album on Ebay was up to $123.

Greg,
Who owns the sound recording of the LP? If you do and you have not licenced it, they are essentially selling a bootleg.
