Most complete sixties band still performing?

I do not know the answer to this one, but I'm sure someone does. Which of the sixties bands still active has the most original members in its line up?

the Ventures or the Stones perhaps?

You may right with the Stones Sheena, they have 3 members from the original line up still playing. Unless any body else knows any different.

Yes, perhaps 3/5 would be the "record" albeit i'm sure the members of this part of the forum may name many more... and was wrong with the Ventures, though, since they have only 2 original members now as i found out just a coupla minutes ago, thought there were 3/4...

The Ventures sort of go from 2 to 3. Nokie Edwards sometimes joins them other times they use Jerry McGhee and on some occasions have used Bob Spalding to play lead, the constants though are Bob Bogle and Don Wilson both in their late sixties or even early seventies now, still a great sounding band though.

I have just thought of the manfreds. This group is made up of 4 ex members of Manfred Mann, all who date back to at least 1966. Which is some going!! Not sure if this would count though....

As for bands from the 60s still going with the most original members? I would say Black Sabbath would win that one, as they formed in 1968 and the original lineup reunited about 10 years ago.

Cream reunited in 2005 and played a series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall that is now released on DVD. I think they are also playing some concerts in the US.

Well that's a good example Jim... 3/3... i just thought it was about the bands that kept on performing during all these years, from 60s to 2000s, no breakups... might have been wrong, though.

I just mentioned Cream because another post had mentioned another band that had reunited. One unique thing about the Cream reunion was that all of the original members were able to particpate. For many other bands that would not be possible.
