For comparison - on a typical Fender Jazz bass:

Treble pickup ~ 2 1/8" from the G string saddle, Jeff is right, that's the double octave harmonic, 1/16th of the open scale length (34").

Neck pickup is ~ 6".

My Lakland Joe Osborne is spaced:

Treble ~ 2 9/16"
Bass ~ 6 1/4"

The Osborne is modeled after Joe's early 60's Jazz which had different spacing from the later models.

Is that Lakland a 35" scale?

No, just 34". It actually has a '72 Fender neck.
