Hi Brian, your killing me, $1799!!! And if that's not enough, you get to play her out. Great action shot. Thank you for your insight and the photo's. I was very curious about her sound, thanks. I think it's a beautiful example.

$1799 AND waited impatiently for 4.5 years !

What good is it if it never gets used? It's insured so I just treat it with care like the rest of my Rics.

Speaking of Lemmy...the "Hanging With Lemmy" was repeated again on VH1 Classic tonight and I recorded it on my DVR. If anyone needs a DVD of it, let me know. Interviews and classic music clips, right now I have Ace of Spades cranking!

"Way way way over-priced in my opinion.

But then again, I'm not much of a Lemmy fan.

I am a big Chris Squire fan though, and I also think the 4001CS is way over-priced.

Just my opinion."

I have to agree with you Scott, the music stores that are selling the 4004LK are really gouging the buyers, as are the people reselling the CS.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Gary ... yep that is one of my basses and it is not for sale ... it has a nice warm growl ... oh by the way my band is playing at Monterey Music Cafe in Allen Park the 30th and 31st this weekend ... I will probably have 2 5 string Rics at the gig ... a 2030, or a 2020, or a 4004, or a 4003 ... and maybe a 10 string bass ...

I own or used to own many of the basses on this web site ... www.3dentourage.com/425

J Gary, e-mail sent...

Jeff, Brian had actually told me he was considering having carvings done on a Cheyenne(I think), similiar to the Lemmy but laid off due to the cost of the work.

My next project may be to find a 4000 or 4001 and do that. I haven't thought it completely through yet.

Jeff, what kind of stuff are you doing? I'd love to try and get out there. The Monterey, what type of atmosphere? Can you bring a gal or do you need to wear running shoes? Heck, I drive out there just to watch you carry all your stuff in, quite an arsenal.

Cool site.

Marc, missed your mail, stuck at work until later. Take a peak when I get home.
