4004Cii Monty Brown, Any Pics Out There??

Post by bbobb24 »

Hi everyone, I just put a deposit down on a Monty Brown 4004Cii, I've been wanting one for the longest time and it'll finally be mine!! Anyway, as per my agreement with my lovely wife I have to sell off a couple things before I pay it off, so I was wondering if any of you folks have pictures of this model in Monty brown?

Thanks in advance!!

Congrats on the Cii !

Monty Brown (and any of the "bursts") IMO look their best on the 4004 models. It is also one of the few colors that I like with gold hardware.

I got to handle that one at Classic Axe back in July. Beautiful instrument. He also had a used white 4003 with white binding and all of it had yellowed. The best description would be Bananameatglo. That is the color of the edible part of the banana, not the skin. Pretty unusual.

Yep, I like dealing with Chris. I also have a Monty Brown 660 on order with him. He's a top notch dealer, and person

"It is also one of the few colors that I like with gold hardware'.

...yeah, in my own humble opinion, the gold hardware looks best with Monty Brown, Mapleglo and Trans Red.

Do you have a 4003BBR on order with POTR, Steve? If not, I may know where one is available.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

Ron, I think that Steve ordered his from Chris immediately the NAMM show. I'm probably thinking of the same place as you are, and it does have walnut wings on the headstock...
