Cry Baby and 4003... asking...

Post by 1rr3l3v4n7 »

Ok... Anyone tried the dunlop Bass crybaby?

I'd like to get one, but it seems that other Wahs made specially for bass that I tried just can't play well with a rick. From my experience, it kinda sucked the treble and had to much presence of mid and bass... Might be good with a P bass, but the rick sounded "shy". I never tried the dunlop bass wah.

Should I get the classic guitar cry baby instead?
Yes, I played one... and I know!

I use the white one - the 105Q. It's tons better than the regular black "bass" wah.

The only thing that annoyed the **** out of me was the delay in switching it on, so I modded it to get rid of that. Good to go, now.
