I owned a lovely baby blue Series 1 XJ6 back in the mid 80's, for around 5 years.

It had a very rare factory manual transmission, and contrary to popular belief, never broke down once in the time I owned it. It would carry myself and four friends across the country at three figure speeds in splendid silence all day long.

The 4 door saloons have always been at the forefront of beauty in car design, and, would you agree Paul, there's very little doubt, Giugiaro had been looking at one when he was designing the QP at Maserati.

My father had a Daimler 250 V8 back in the 60s. Great car, but every time you took it in for a service you just knew it was gonna cost an arm and a leg!!

Nice to see the Buicks represented here! My brother collects/restores '70 - '72 BUICK Skylark GS 455s. He currently owns about 4 and an '86 Grand National. Also a pretty '72 Centurion convertible with 12,000 original miles. In high school, '77 - '81, I drove his '72 455. A nice muscle car in an era of ****** autos.

I had a red '72 I picked up as a project... but the frame was just too far gone. Damn shame... I would have loved to drive that car.

Mine would have ended up with the less rare, non-factory Chevy 5-speed behind a 350...

Here's my favorite ride for the last 20 years with less than 100,000 miles on her. It's a '69 Mercedes Benz 280SE coupe.

I think the largest surviving population of 'Thing's must be on the island of Bali...I saw many more there than I've ever seen elsewhere, including some very ancient-looking ones...

The first car I owned.... brand spankin' new '72 Mazda 1300 coupe. Straight off the showroom floor - $2,625.00. Mine was red (of course)....

I'm restoring one of these Volvo 1800S cars, so its my fav right now, but once I get it done I'll be getting a '72 Datsun 240Z to restore. Most of the old classic collectors cars would get me interested though.
