Apologies for resurrecting this thread, but seeing as I don't get out to gig much these days I'll take any opportunity to post a pic! Here's a shot with my (slightly modded) CW/12 at a recent departmental Christmas party:

You can see other pictures at

and if you look carefully you can spot our bassist's 4003s/5.
Merry Christmas everybody!

Hey Chris, are you a Guelphite? I lived in Guelph for a number of years and until last year was the archivist for the city of Guelph. I know some folks in the OVC as well. I was looking for some familiar faces in your pictures but the only familiar thing was the boathouse.

Hi Bill - yes, I've lived in Guelph since 1992...perpetual student! Glad to know there are other Guelphers here at the forum. Perhaps you were involved in finding that archival photo of the Boathouse in the background?!?

Might have been. I attended U of G from 1987-1995, lived there about 5 years, met my wife there, and still occasionally play up that way-used to play in Guelph a lot in the local pubs and Hillside but haven't been up there in a while.

Played a cracking gig tonight with loads of Carnivore fans in the audience. I used my two favourite gtrs...my '97 345 (used to be a 330) & my 360V64-12. I honestly believe that my 345 is the best playing & sounding Rickenbacker ever made...I LOVE it (& my Marshall!) The Beatles print behind me probably helped!!!

Those are great pics. It took me about 60 seconds before I even realised that you were in them Tony.

I love the 345. I must be an addict because I also love the V64/12. There is something special about FG Rics with gold guards and a gold TRC. That 345 is sooooo nice!
