And here in the North Bay, temps are around 55 F, it's 9:30 pm and another huge storm is dumping on the area. The rain and wind are incredible. Weatherman promises clearing on Wednesday...

Erk.... Good day to be playin'.

I'm quietly sipping a Yellowglen '02 Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay bubbly in anticipation of 2006. Lovely!!

Only 7 and a bit hours to go.....

I'm trying to work out where North Bay area is on the satellite shots. Any clues?

Stick your arm out the window and wave - I might be able to find you.....

10 miles N of SF, just across the GG bridge, west 2 miles, right on the edge of Mt. Tamalpais, ready to slide off.

I'm waving...

Go to Google Earth and enter "Mill Valley, CA". The star that shows the center of town is a 3-minute walk from my sprawling rancho.

Anywhere near the golf course? Or more towards Old Mill Park?

I'm a block north of the golf course, right up the winding dead end road. See those deer? The mom and two yearlings? They're right in front of the house. Quick!

A perfect day to be playing a Rick in So Cal. It's about 60 degrees and raining...yes, it is raining in So Cal. When it rains here it might as well be a blizzard...a mild shower and the news is on storm watch.
