I love the amber fireglo...Just wish they would offer other vintage options like checkerboard binding, vintage re-issue pickups...Then we could stop bothering the Halls about re-issues and just create our own...

Just thought of something interesting... would the c64 now be available in Amber Fireglo? I think it would add rather than take away the integrity of the bass

"I think that might be a possibility also check out the 300 series guitars."

Is there something new with regard to the 300 series besides the headstock change on the 12-string models?

I think the 4001C64 will look great in AFG!

Nuts. Struck out on this one. So, I'm battin' .500. So is Ted. Time to start guessing on 2007 COY!

It looks great and that would be my pick over the more modern FireGlo but it doesn't interest me enough to order one. With checkerboard binding it is a whole different story though.

right on brian. if they went back to the smaller headstocks and bigger bodies, i'd be all over it.

I think the 4001C64 would look good if the stupid reverse headstock went away.

But that's just me. Amber Fireglo looks coooooooool.

I like it. But looking at the photo on the RIC website...shouldn't the fretboard be "ambered" as well? I mean...its supposed to resemble an aged finish, no?

That seems like a fair question. Maybe that picture does not tell the whole story.

Wow... I should try to dig up one of my old posts... I remember people speculating on this a few months back and I said that a vintage fireglo would be the COY because that was what people on the forum always drooled about.

ya it is kind of cool that the guys at Ric read and consider what we say here ...

I am kind of tempted to get a 4003 with the walnut headwings and AFG finish and make my own V68 ... of course it would also be a 5 string ...
