Hey guys, does anyone have the correct chords for the this song?
The bit Im after in particular is that cool sounding twangy rhythm guitar in the intro, Ive looked up a few on google but they dont seem to sound quite right. (playing an Em shape on the 3rd fret) it sounds to me it could be played higher up the neck, and maybe de tuned? Has anyone nailed this song correctly?

The band I'm in covers it on occasion, with the trombone playing the melody...I'm on bass, so I don't know the answer to your question...I'll have to listen to it again, or maybe someone here knows already...
Anyway, there are other ways to nail a tune than 'correctly'...IMHO, that is...

I agree with your earlier observation Dane. Sometimes you can nail a song by doing a completely different version. I generally like to do my own version of other peoples songs because then I can just be myself.

John...just guessing here...there is mellotron all over that track, but mellotron vocals don't have consonants at the beginning of the loops, like the 'L' in 'La'...just an 'Aaaahhh' sound. And I'm thinking with some male voices already booked for the session (especially ones who like clowning around), it would be easier to have the boys go for it. I could be wrong, though...now I have to get the track out and listen to it under the microscope...
