I had never seen anything like this before, and for some reason it just looks REALLY odd. Kinda like finding out your best friend has been secretly dating your sister.

Great analogy except I don't have a sister (moot point), but I understand your point completely.

Not to plug anything, but if you think that's weird, you should see this:

Another pic that I have never seen before you posted it on your site. Great detective work Nick.

For Christmas, I received a pretty comprehensive book called: "Lennon--The Unseen Pictures". Anybody heard of it?

The second picture above--of JL playing the Rick 12--is the frontispiece of this book. There are some great backstage shots and movie set shots in the book as well as a lot of older publicity photos and "a day in the life"-type-stuff as well.

Sounds like a must have book Paul. I'll have to try and find one up here in Gods country. Who is the publisher?

The first photo Nick posted was obviously the Miami rehearsals. Guess John was awaiting his new 325.Image

So what is George playing in the rehearsal pic if John has the CG?

So I guess JL's first Ric was so beat up by this point he couldn't even use it in rehearsal's? Hadn't he just played it at the NY Sullivan show at at the Washington DC concert?

Guess there's a million reasons he could be playing George's guitar.
