I have the Monty Brown 4004CII reserved, it's mine all mine!!! LOL, hopefully it'll be in my hands in another week or so.

Nice one, Bob. I'm not much for gold hardware in general but it goes very well with the MB.

And Brian, I'm with ya on the Midnight Blue. If I didn't have the BBR on order, I'd be all over that one.....

Thanks guys. I had a 4004CII about 4-5 years ago in trans blue that I really loved...but the band I was in fell apart so I sold the bass to get myself off to a new start. well I've regretted it ever since, so this opportnity came up and I wasn't letting it slip by.

I agree with you Michael, I've never been a fan of gold hardware either, but for a bass of this quality I'd play it no matter what it looked like. But luckily the Monty Brown finish kicks all kinds of butt!!

Bob, I saw a photo of yours somewhere, tranny blue right??? Thats the bass that inspired me to order my tranny red 4004.

Hey Scott, yep I believe there's a picture on John Williams site. In the picture it's pictured with a 650S which I didn't get along with.

I miss that bass.....
