Dean,

Bring all your Ricks, you don't have to be selective, depending on what is the most interesting, we love 'em all.

I'm in the Madison area. I'll bring my 370WB VP and my modded 620/12.

I'm planning to attend, also from south of the Cheddar Curtain. I'll bring whatever fits in the car; hopefully the BBR fairy will have brought me something special by then.

Far back, I mentioned that I might try to make it; unfortuantely I will not be able to attend. My trip back to central Illinois will be in July for my mother's 90th birthday, and I can't swing two driving-back-there trips in a year.

Well, Gary, when you come in July, maybe we can have a "mini confluence" -- perhaps if you can come up to Chicagoland, Ted and I will buy you a beer and a Chicago-style hotdog. And maybe mess around with a few Ricks.

Gary: Maybe we can have one in California when I'm there during August? Even if that can't be done, I'd love to meet up with you for a beer.....

Jeffrey - thanks for the note. This will be my first Confluence & I wasn't sure how it all happens. I'll bring 'em all and let the Confluence sort 'em out.

Paul and Howard, we probably can do that. Except we'll substitute a soft drink for the beer for me (I don't drink).

"Gary: Maybe we can have one in California when I'm there during August?"

Don't forget the 75th Anniversary RIC Fest! You should be here in time for it.

No probs, Gary - I respect that.

Jeff: I'll be in California for the last two weeks in August. If such an an event takes place, as we say in Oz, "I'll be there - boots, balls 'n all!".

Dean: Hope to catch up when I'm in Springfield - last weekend in September!

You guys won't have a bloody chance.... I'll beat you to the bar every time!!

And if we're having a drink at home, be warned! I'm the current world record holder for the 'couch to fridge' sprint... and the long distance event - the 'back yard to bottle shop'! Image

Too bad that's not an Olympic event, Howard! Image

Jps: sure thing; there will be some sort of confluence in August as well, hopefully around the time of the RIC 75th anniversary event.
