It really is a beautiful guitar. Much prettier in person than in the pictures.
They really are hi gain, same as my 360/12. With close examination, some idiot put metal strips on them to give them the old look.
Why? As Brian Wilson said, "God Only Knows".

I'm looking forward to reading all of the posts on here.
I recently bought a Tascam 2488 and after a 10 year break from playing and performing, I'm ready to get going again.
I bought the Rics to alter the sound and to get me mentally fired up to do it.
Now that I've invested money I'm obligated to do it.
I must admit, this digital ****, while amazing, does confuse my old analog brain...

The upper guard is wrong. Just so ya know. That's the extent of my luthier knowledge.
