Interesting article, takes much time to think, the only thing is, however... not always you can buy a CD you want or go to see the show you want to see... so MP3 kinda help sometimes... of course, only IMHO, and listening to music through headphones sure works against ear...

you're welcome Peter. I'm reading Bob Spitz's book at the moment. Far cry from the days when the Beatles as young teens would tune into Radio Luxembourg for the latest Rock and Roll hits or sitting in the listening booths at NEMS in order to get the lyrics and chords to a song correct. Now that's passion. I understand what you are saying Sheena, There are times when I want to find an obscure old rock and roll tune and it ain't at the local record shop
