Ewwwwww..... Ick! Pink is a horrible color on guitars, and most other things, too.... Blech.

Other than the pink tele that started this thread, I mean; that one is interesting just because it's so different from the usual ordinary teles everybody has....

I didn't know that Photoshop had "ugly" filters...

Melissa, ahem...Juliana's li'l Squier Strat looks pretty nice in Pearl Ice Santa Claus Elf Pink. But as far as adult guitars go, most pinks are out. That awful PB-pink 360 with black hardware was a good example of bad.

Sorry, Paul....as far as colors go, I simply despise pink, especially pale pink, at least in most cases.... I have a strong dislike for pastels (although having said that, I actually like sea green on Rics, as long as they have binding--weird, huh?).... However, I'd have to see a picture of Juliana's Strat before I make a final judgment; I can't imagine you doing an "ugly" refin, LOL....and I'm sure the one you did for your own daughter was extra-special!

You may not like this one, either, Melissa, but Juliana is tickled, er, pink, you know?

Actually, Paul, that's not too bad! Image

Somehow it looks just right for her, and in this case it is her happiness that matters most of all....

I'd prefer the first one Jeffrey has offered 8-)
BTW... kids grow...
I'd rather agree with Melissa that "Pink is a horrible color on guitars, and most other things, too..." but... as far as kids go, NOTHING can be bad in their presence! 8-)

Mitch,
Yeah, I saw Peterson playing the pink Tele on the Bangles WE special from House of Blues.
Is the f-hole real or painted?
So it is a hollow Tele?
Thanks.
