Not 100% certain Bob but it was on the Cameo Parkway Label which was an American label it's subsidiary over here was Pye International I believe.

Mark I actually said "no one else got an answer" did not say any already given were wrong, sorry if I gave that impression,just wanted to try and elicit further response or to be more accurate to try and gauge if posting these clips is really warranted.

You are correct about Kerr's songs they were dubbed, Marni Nixon did the vocals as she did for Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady

Note - My first date with my (future) wife was to a high school production of "The King And I." There is a long story about that that I will not bore everyone with.
Have a great weekend. Don't mean to rub it in, but I get Monday off too (for MLK day).
A gig tonight. Son's birthday party tomorrow. Concert tomorrow night (Debi Smith and Friends). There's stuff on Sunday I've forgotten about. Band rehearsal on Monday. And four (American) football games to fit in.

What year was it released Roy? Sounds like he was trying to cash in on the British invasion sound which killed all but the very best american artists over here. I mean his accent, the band sounds the same as always.
Cameo Parkway, must have been american.

1961 Bob, it was the B side to (Twist To)Blueberry Hill and was classed as a Special Promo release.
