Got 'em! So who do I choose to ship them?

Post by aristeas »

Just won a pair of Hi-Gains on Ebay - an absolute bargain- $66US. The seller has asked me "which airmail you prefer? UPS..USPS..FedEX or some other one" - to ship to Brisbane, Australia. I have no clue, any suggestions?

Lee: In the interest of keeping your high gain purchase a bargain, I would go with US mail and avoid the courier route.

USPS airmail (The equivalent of Australia Post) should only cost a few dollars, and be much less hassle than the more expensive UPS or FedEx courier services. I've been sent hundreds of items bought from eBay.com and Amazon.com, and haven't lost a package yet.

Lee, Yup...I concur with Peter and Mark. USPS airmail is the only way to go with small packages.

Agreed. And USPS is quick, too! I've had parcels arrive in as little as 4 days. Around a week seems to be the norm, however.
