That is one of those RIC Custom Shop basses. You know, they offer pickups made by RIC by default but if you prefer you can get Bartolini, Duncan, Alembic, or pickups made somewhere over the rainbow. You can get any model in any color with any neck thickness. It is a wonderful service.

Fireglo is one of the rarest colors in the RIC spectrum. JH should really consider making it a standard offering. Image

No Ted, your mistaken. It is obviously a completely different bass, one is a 4001 and the other a more expensive 4003. I bet it took him ages to set them up so that both pictures looked exactly the same! Image
